Denis Villeneuve’s Enemy took home five awards – including best director – as the Canadian Screen Awards were celebrated in Toronto on Sunday night.
The single event, a salute to the best in Canadian TV and film, replaced the separate Gemini and Genie awards.
Comedian Martin Short hosted the event and stars from City – like Cityline’s Tracy Moore and Breakfast Television’s Dina Pugliese – graced the red carpet.
Sci-fi series Orphan Black dominated the television awards, taking home best drama and and best actress for star Tatiana Maslany.
