CBC Unveils Presenters for 2014 Canadian Screen Awards

More Canadian stars have joined the 2014 Canadian Screen Awards as presenters on the live CBC-TV broadcast on Sunday, March 9, 2014. The latest additions to this esteemed presenter line-up includes Liane Balaban (The Grand Seduction), Evelyne Brochu (Tom at the Farm), Cara Gee (Empire of Dirt), Matthew Johnson (The Dirties), Jessica Paré (Mad Men), Jennifer Podemski (Empire of Dirt), singer-songwriter Serena Ryder and Jay Baruchel (The Art of the Steal), as announced today by CBC Television and the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television.

These celebrity presenters will be joining host Martin Short at the Sony Centre for the Performing Arts for the awards. Jay Baruchel will be on-stage as part of the tribute to David Cronenberg for his 2014 Lifetime Achievement Award, which will be presented by his friend and long-time collaborator, actor Viggo Mortensen.

This eclectic mix of talent will share the stage with the previously announced Amanda Brugel (Seed), Arisa Cox (Big Brother Canada), Dave Foley (Spun Out), Lauren Holly (Motive), Mia Kirshner (I Think I Do), Adam Korson (Seed), Jessica Lowndes (90210), Amber Marshall (Heartland), Tatiana Maslany (Orphan Black, Cas & Dylan), Shay Mitchell (Pretty Little Liars), Jon Montgomery (The Amazing Race Canada), Zoie Palmer (Lost Girl), Missy Peregrym (Rookie Blue), Jason Priestley (Call Me Fitz), Anna Silk (Lost Girl), George Stroumboulopoulos (George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight) and David Sutcliffe (Cracked).
